Home Dashboard
Your Home is the first screen you see when you log in to SuiteOp. It’s a personalized grid of widgets — each one a window into a part of the platform (Reservations, Tasks, Properties, Inbox, and more) that you can resize, rearrange, add, and remove to fit how you work.
Every widget does double duty: it shows you the numbers that matter at a glance, and it’s also a shortcut into that area of the platform.
The Needs Attention band
Section titled “The Needs Attention band”Pinned across the top of the Home is the Needs Attention band. It rolls up the most time-sensitive items across your organization into one ranked queue — things like failed access codes, payments awaiting action, pre-arrival reviews, low-battery devices, unread guest messages, and timesheets pending approval.
The band only surfaces items you have permission to see, so each person’s queue reflects their own responsibilities. Work through it from the top down to clear the day’s most urgent items first.
Widgets
Section titled “Widgets”Below the Needs Attention band sits your widget grid. Each widget comes in two sizes:
- Small — a compact launcher showing one headline number and a status line. The whole tile is a link into that feature.
- Large — a richer working card with several stats, a short list of items you can act on, and quick links — sometimes with tabs to switch views (for example, Arrivals / Departures on Reservations, or My / Team on Tasks).
Available widgets include Reservations, Tasks, Properties, Inbox, Folio, Devices, Workflows, Analytics, Approvals, Shifts, and Alerts. You’ll only ever see widgets for the areas your role and permissions give you access to.
Customizing your layout
Section titled “Customizing your layout”Your Home layout is saved per user — changes you make affect only your own screen, and they follow you across devices.
-
Enter Customize mode
Click Customize in the top-right of the Home. Each tile gains a drag handle, a size toggle, and a remove (×) control.
-
Rearrange widgets
Drag a tile by its handle to move it. The grid reflows automatically to fill any gaps.
-
Resize a widget
Use the size toggle on a tile to switch it between Small and Large.
-
Add or remove widgets
Click × on a tile to remove it. To bring widgets back, open the Add widgets library and pick from the widgets available to you — anything you don’t have permission for never appears.
-
Save your changes
Click Done to save your layout. Nothing is saved until you do — you can also choose Reset to default to return to the role-based starting layout.
