Search & Navigation
The mobile app includes a global search that lets you find tasks, properties, reservations, and devices from one place.
Opening Search
Section titled “Opening Search”You can open search from two places:
- Home dashboard — tap the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner
- Properties tab — tap the search icon in the header
Searching
Section titled “Searching”Type your query in the search bar at the top of the screen. Search results appear as you type (with a short delay to avoid searching on every keystroke).
Each result shows:
- Icon — indicates the result type (task, property, reservation, or device)
- Title — the name of the item (task name, property name, guest name, or device name)
- Subtitle — additional context (property location, confirmation code, device type, etc.)
- Type badge — a label showing whether the result is a Task, Property, Reservation, or Device
Tap a result to navigate directly to its detail screen.
Filtering by Type
Section titled “Filtering by Type”Use the type filter pills below the search bar to narrow results:
- All — show results across all categories
- Tasks — only task results
- Properties — only property results
- Reservations — only reservation results
- Devices — only device results
- Search matches against names, nicknames, guest names, confirmation codes, and device names
- Search works offline — it queries your local synced database, so results are available even without connectivity
- Tap Cancel to close the search screen and return to where you were
App Navigation
Section titled “App Navigation”The bottom tab bar is always visible and provides access to the five main sections:

From detail screens, tap the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the previous screen.
