Authenticate.com Integration

Authenticate.com lets you run background checks on guests before their stay. Once connected, you can add a background check step to your guest verification flow so guests are screened automatically during check-in.

  1. Create an Authenticate.com account

If you already have an account, skip to the next step.

    • Visit https://portal.authenticate.com/register
    • Complete the required fields and verify your email address
    • Review and accept the Agreement
    • Add payment information and top up your account
    • Locate your API Key and Company Access Code in your Authenticate.com portal — you will need both to connect
  2. Connect in SuiteOp

Navigate to Settings > Integrations and select the Authenticate.com tile under Operations.

    • Click Add Account
    • Enter your API Key and Company Access Code
    • Click Connect

After connecting, click your account to view:

  • Status — Whether the account is active
  • Connected date — When the account was linked
  • Company Access Code — Masked for security (last 4 digits visible)

From the account detail page you can also:

  • Test Background Check — Run a test background check to verify your connection is working correctly
  • Open Authenticate.com Portal — Go directly to your Authenticate.com dashboard

Once your account is connected, you need to add a background check step to your guest verification flow. See Background Checks with Authenticate.com for the full setup guide.

The API key you entered was not recognized by Authenticate.com. Copy the key again from your Authenticate.com portal and make sure no extra spaces were included.

Your company access code could not be verified. Confirm the code in your Authenticate.com portal under your account settings.

An Authenticate.com account with these credentials is already linked to your organization. If you need to reconnect, remove the existing account first and then add it again.

SuiteOp could not connect to the Authenticate.com API. This is usually a temporary issue on Authenticate.com’s side. Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, check the Authenticate.com status page or contact their support.
