Tasks Tab
The Tasks tab gives you operational insight into how tasks are being completed across your properties and teams. This tab requires both the view_analytics and modify_tasks permissions.
| Metric | What It Measures |
|---|---|
| Total Tasks | Number of tasks created in the selected period |
| Completion Rate | Percentage of tasks marked as completed |
| Average Completion Time | Mean time from task creation to completion (lower is better) |
| Overdue Rate | Percentage of tasks that missed their due date (lower is better) |
| Blocking Tasks | Number of tasks currently blocking other work (lower is better) |
| Recurring Task Completion Rate | Completion rate for recurring/scheduled tasks specifically |
| Estimate Accuracy | How closely actual completion times match estimates (lower variance is better) |
Charts
Section titled “Charts”Tasks Over Time
Section titled “Tasks Over Time”A time-series chart showing tasks created, tasks completed, and overdue tasks over the selected period. Look for widening gaps between created and completed counts as early warning signs.
Department Breakdown
Section titled “Department Breakdown”See task volume and completion rates by department (e.g., Housekeeping, Maintenance, Guest Services). Identify which teams are keeping up and which may need additional resources.
Priority Breakdown
Section titled “Priority Breakdown”View tasks grouped by priority level (high, medium, low). A spike in high-priority tasks may indicate emerging operational issues.
Status Breakdown
Section titled “Status Breakdown”See the distribution of tasks by status: pending, in progress, completed, cancelled. Useful for understanding workflow throughput.
Overdue Tasks Table
Section titled “Overdue Tasks Table”A detailed table of currently overdue tasks showing:
- Task name
- Assignee
- Department
- Due date
- Days overdue
- Priority level
Click any row to open the task detail drawer for a quick view of the full task information without leaving the analytics page.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”In addition to shared filters, this tab supports:
- Department — Focus on a specific team
- Task status — Filter by status (pending, in progress, completed, etc.)
- Task priority — Filter by priority level
